Our Journey So Far
Salad is led by an experienced group of venture builders and crypto natives with a team of more than 30 spanning across Singapore, Malaysia, America, Europe, and the Philippines where the idea of a guild was first conceived. The team brings many decades of veteran operational experience at industry giants, technology startups and agencies working with Fortune 500 companies.
Salad seeks to create organised ecosystems that will enable players worldwide to maximise their potential and stay ahead in an ever-evolving landscape. This prepares them for an X-to-Earn world where income opportunities exist in multiple new forms beyond the current Play-to-Earn model.
We started out in early 2021 as a humble P2E guild now known as Apollo Squad, bringing over 1,000 talented players together and empowering them with the resources needed to excel and earn within the P2E space.
Salad raised a $2m seed round led by Multicoin Capital, and subsequently a $13.5m round with a stellar roster of investors including C Squared Ventures, Crossbeam Venture Partners, Foundation Capital, Gemini Frontier Fund, Winklevoss Capital and Polygon Studios. Salad has since leveled up our internal capabilities, moving towards an ecosystem play. We have a Learn2Earn Platform known as Apollo Academy, a Play2Earn Platform known as Arcaden, and are working on a Decentralised Labour Exchange (DLX) known as Maslow.
